This trip changed course part-way. Guardbridge, Tillicoultry, Alloa, then back to Tillicoultry after realising I'd thrown out my new mobile in the bin with the rubbish bag (!) and then back to Alloa/Stirling, Glasgow, then back to Stirling, Perth, and on to Dundee.

(You should know by now that I like to make life difficult for myself!)

Left First in the Hillfoots, my second bus of the day was Wright-bodied Scania singe decker 515 (R445 ALS) turning into the Tillicoultry bus stance. Right After travelling into Alloa, back to Tillicoultry, then back to Alloa/Stirling, alighted in the latter for a bit. This included snapping up L805 OVX which is a Talbot Freeway (Pullman) belonging to Hunters of Sauchie, seen here in Union Street Stirling. Service 162 provides additional facilities over parts of Serviecs 62 & 63 by First.
Left Just round the corner, and GreenLine Services 53/54 were admended in the April service reshuffle to have the Bridge Of Allan circular part (originally in the 51/52 then the 53/54) to be 54 or 54A depending on direction, with Service 53 running as a shuttle from Whins of Milton to Stirling Uni. The anti-clockwise circular is shown with Mercedes minibus 687 (N687 WLS).  Right Leaving the bus station on "EasyBoarder" service C44 was Harlequin Coaches Iveco MUI 5347. The vehicle is not going anywhere really rural here, although Plean has a bit of country road to get to it, at least going the way the C44 does.
Left Remember I mentioned Citylink would be taking Service M9 from First? Well, Service 909 started this week using DAF/Van Hool coaches of West Coast Motors. These are being parked up at M-Line in Alloa, but First management stated in the local press that the only reason the service was given up was due to the local unofficial overtime ban. And if you believe that.... Anyway, West Coast's DAF M400 WCM is seen at the bus station layby about to go for a spin to Edinburgh - ON time, CORRECTLY blinded, NOT run with a school bus, and NOT cut! If you think I am being a little harsh on First, what did I see on my trip to Glasgow, on Service 24? Well, I spotted many passengers querying where the 27 was.. when we got to Banton, Volvo 1213 overtook us empty - as it appeared this was a replacement for a broken down bus on the 27! Then, the bus turned short at Bishopbriggs Retail Park and turfed all the passengers onto the 24, who then whinged with those who had waited on the 27 to no avail...  From Springburn south we drove past all passengers hailing the bus - even one who left a 12 in the lay-by SPECIFICALLY to hail the 24..... Anyway, there will be more Stirling to follow after a spin round Glasgow!
Left This is the last "MegaDekka" of Stagecoach in Glasgow on Service X25. Volvo Citybus 15246 is seen in Buchanan Bus Station, and is NOT a "MegaDekka" (three-axled vehicle), but the other two X25 branded buses have gone down south to Stagecoach Oxford for use on new low-cost Megabus.com Service 40 to London. Definite replacements for them should be known soon. Right First in Glasgow SV427 is seen heading down Union Street on "brown line" Service 20 towards East Kilbride.
Left Volvo Olympian VO55 is also heading for East Kilbride but via Burnside, and terminating at Lindsayfield. It too is seen progressing down Union Street. Right Arriva Scotland West 420 is an ex-London Dennis Dart SLF/Alexander ALX200, which *I think* was one of the Arriva East Herts & Essex 20/167 batch of vehicles that were new in (but very quickly lost) Grey-Green livery. Service number is lacking, but it's route 36 in Union Street.
Left First SS117 is branded for the Service 75 - now running from Milton to Castlemilk once more since service changes a few months back - but is seen on the 56/57 circular services progressing down Union Street on the 57 section. Right Arriva Scotland West Leyland Olympian/ECW A567 NWX is seen also in Union Street. Allocation on this route is mostly the Scania and Dennis single deckers, but Volvo Citybuses and Leyland Olympians see service occasionally too.
Left Volvo Olympian VO120 of Cumbernauld depot is seen in Union Street, heading further away from home on Service 55 - which is tied into Service X3. Right Mercedes Vario/Alexander MA211 is seen in Union Street on "Claret Line" (who the hell thinks up catchy lines like that) Service 9 to Linwood... which usually gets branded Volvo single deckers, but is having to make do with a breadvan (air suspension though!) in this shot.
Left  Dennis Dominator DD20 is seen not on Service 41, and not branded for it either - but heading south to Mosspark on Service 59. Right MA242 is seen on Service 7 heading for Rutherglen and Halfway, in Argyle Street.
Left Volvo B7 tri-axle double decker VT9 is seen in St Vincent Street, heading east on Service 66. While the vehicle is not red branded, one or two of these are usually allocated to this route. Right The Glasgow - Glasgow Airport Service 905 (Citylink) is shared by Arriva Dart SLF's in an airport version of Citylink livery, and SK 02 NZA and friends, which are Mercedes Vario/Plaxton Beaver 2's of Fairline Coaches. This one was snapped in St Vincent Street. At this point, travelled back to Stirling for a final few snaps...
Left G363 ATM is a Leyland Swift owned by Harlequin Classic Coaches, and is working their Service C48 (Stirling - Kinbuck). However, the last bus on this service is now extended to/from Braco. Right ST389 of First in Glasgow is seen on Service X39 from Stirling to Glasgow - but this is a peak time extra vehicle which runs back to Mollinsburn before returning to Cumbernauld depot light. After this, took a spin on Service 19 back to Perth...
Left Mercedes 0405 57, branded for the 57, is seen in Perth Bus Station on Service 19! Since recent "conversions" to low-floor operation, some step entrance buses get on this route from time to time, including this one! Right 52387 of Stagecoach Bluebird (in Perth) is seen in Perth Bus Station having worked Service 535 from Kettering today (while I was tearing round Central Scotland!)
